Sadbhav achieves commercial operation of Rs 1,220-crore Haryana road project

The project involved four-laning of Rohtak to Panipat section of NH-71 A in Haryana on design, build, finance, operate and transfer basis

Infrastructure company Sadbhav Engineering today said it has achieved commercial operation of the Rs 1,220 crore highways project in Haryana  pertaining to widening of the Rohtak-Panipat stretch.

"Rohtak-Panipat Tollway Pvt Ltd (RPTPL), a special purpose vehicle (SPV) promoted by the Company... Has achieved Commercial Operational Date (COD) as on January 06, 2014 for the entire length of Project Highway i.E. From Km 0 to 80.85," Sadbhav Engineering said in a filing to the BSE.

The project involved four-laning of Rohtak to Panipat section of NH-71 A in Haryana  on design, build, finance, operate and transfer basis under National Highways Development Project phase III.
 

"Accordingly, RPTPL has been expected to collect the toll from January 9. The Concession period is 25 years from the Appointed date. Estimated Cost of the Project is Rs 1220 crores," the company said. The shares of the company closed at Rs 91.35 apiece, up 0.88 per cent from the previous close, on BSE.
