The logistics centre, spread over 25,000 sq ft, is located near Vilholi village (20 km from Nashik) along NH 3. The goods handling capacity of the logistics centre here will be around 15,000 tonnes per month. |
Speaking to Business Standard, a senior official from Safexpress said, "Today, Nashik has emerged as a major auto, electric and wine centre. Four industrial estates of Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) and two industrial estates Have come up on private land are in the Nashik belt. There are around 2,500 engineering, electric and auto industries." |

Considering this, we plan to set up a logistics hub in Nagpur and we have also bought a 22 acre of land here for the purpose," he said. |
