Sahara Group has entered the highly advanced and precision technology segment of clinical trails for drugs and medical processes.
The Lucknow-based multi-disciplinary hospital has set up Sahara Hospital Academic and Research Centre for conducting clinical trials and medical research primarily in the field of cardiac care. “We have firmed tie-ups with four leading medical research agencies around the world for clinical trials and more entities are lined up,” said Sahara Hospital director (medical health) H P Kumar.
The Centre will conduct the entire gamut of researches and multi-centric trials on drugs, approaches, technologies and devices. Sahara Hospital currently has 350 beds, which will be ramped up to 550 in the second phase.
