Sail In The Black, Q4 Net At Rs 242 Cr

The Steel Authority of India (SAIL) today reported a net profit of Rs 242 crore in the last quarter of the 2002-03 financial year as compared to a loss of Rs 417 crore in the corresponding period in 2001-02.

Turnover in the period stood at Rs 5671.43 crore as compared to Rs 4519.99 crore in Q4 of 2001-02.

SAIL ended the financial year 2002-03 with a net loss of Rs 304 crore as compared to Rs 1706.89 crore in 2001-02.
