SAIL Q1 net up 10% at Rs 1,525cr

Steel Authority of India (SAIL) today reported a 10% increase in net profit at Rs 1,525.12 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2007 when compared with Rs 1,386.41 crore in Q1FY07.

According to a release issued to the BSE today, total income increased to Rs 8,346.40 crore from Rs 7,713.50 crore in Q1FY07.
