Sam Ghosh new CEO of Reliance Capital

Anil Ambani group's financial services arm Reliance Capital has appointed Sam Ghosh as the new chief executive officer.

Ghosh, who led the ramping up of German insurer Allianz's Indian insurance ventures, assumed charge as CEO today, according to a release issued by Reliance Capital today. He would report to Reliance Capital vice chairman Amitabh Jhunjhunwala.

The group's interests include asset management, life and general insurance, private equity and proprietary investments, stock broking, depository services, distribution of financial products, consumer finance and other activities in financial services.
