Samir Bodas is new CEO of Aztecsoft

Aztecsoft, a software engineering services company, has promoted president Samir Bodas as the new chief executive officer (CEO). Bodas will take over from V Chandrasekharan who will continue as managing director and board member of the company. 

"Bodas is already driving several initiatives to improve the way Aztecsoft operates today. He has given us confidence in his leadership, and we hope to see the growth momentum at Aztecsoft to be driven to new heights," K B Chandrashekar, chairman, Aztecsoft, said.

The company witnessed a 39.5% dip in net profit at Rs 6.93 crore in Q2FY08 when compared with the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal.

Aztecsoft is expecting Bodas to improve the company's performance, which has dipped following the transfer of the Indian offshore development centre (ODC), which the company maintained, to the US-based Dendrite Inc last fiscal.
