Samsung launches full touch screen mobile phone

Samsung Electronics today announced the launch of its full touch screen, ultra-slim mobile phone-Samsung TouchWIZ.    

"The TouchWIZ's 5 mega pixel, autofocus-LED Flash camera, metal body casing and leather cover combine the best of form and function to create new benchmarks in mobilephones" a release here said.    

"Given the growing consumer interest in touch screen phones, the Samsung TouchWIZ offers a brilliant full touch navigation experience; widgets with 'Drag and Drop' technology and User Interface with Haptic feedback which makes the experience of using the phone highly interactive and easy," Samsung Telecommunications, Country-Head Sunil Dutt said.    

Samsung TouchWIZ is priced at Rs 20,990 and its features include an integrated FM radio, multi-format video playback (MPEG4 H.263) and also MPEG4 video recording and editing functions.     

 

Samsung Electronics Company Ltd, a leading producer of digital television,, memory chips and mobile phones, has 134 offices in 62 countries. 

The company consists of four main business units — digital media business, LCD business, semiconductor business and telecommunication business, the release added.
