Samsung India Electronics, a subsidiary of Korean electronics major Samsung, has re-entered the audio segment in India after a gap of around three years, with plans to derive more than 5 per cent of its 2003 turnover from the new business.
The company, which recorded a turnover of Rs 960 crore in the first eight months of the year, expects to close the year with sales of up to Rs 1,560 crore.
The audio business is expected to contribute 2 per cent to the total turnover, a company executive said.
