Sanofi India Q4 net down 44% at Rs 51.7 crore

Company had posted a net profit of Rs 92.7 crore during the same period last year

Drug firm Sanofi India today reported 44.22% decline in net profit at Rs 51.7 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2014.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 92.7 crore during the same period last year.

Net sales of the company came down by 8.93% to Rs 419.9 crore for the fourth quarter as against Rs 461.1 crore during the same period a year ago, Sanofi India said in a BSE filing.

Overall expenses stood at Rs 387.9 crore in the quarter as against Rs 398.3 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.

Shares of Sanofi India were trading at Rs 3,035 apiece, down 1.29% from the previous close on the BSE.
