Sanovi bags orders from Rajasthan, UP, MP, K'taka

IT firm Sanovi Technologies India today said it has bagged disaster recovery (DR) projects under the APDR Programme (APDRP) from the states of Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka.

"The APDRP wins mark Sanovi's entry into the e-governance projects and into utilities, both very big categories in their own right," Sanovi Technologies CEO Subramanian Parameswaran said in a statement.

The company did not provide financial details of these projects.

It will be working with the State Electricity Boards and discoms in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka to ensure that a disaster recovery plan in place, it added.

The Accelerated Power Development and Reform Programme (APDRP) is an Indian government programme, under which IT companies help power utilities to facilitate reduction of aggregate technical and commercial (AT&C) losses.

As part of the project, Sanovi will assist the utilities in setting up of a DR centre and focus on the complete DR life-cycle including replication, monitoring, testing, reporting, policies and automated recovery.
