Sarabhai Zydus to market immuno-diagnostics kits

Sarabhai Zydus Animal Health Limited (SZAHL), a Vadodara-based joint venture company between Zydus Cadila and Ambalal Sarabhai Enterprises, and one of the front-runners in the Indian animal health sector, will be launching high-tech Immuno-diagnostic Reagent kits in India in the animal healthcare segment to help diagnose and control newly emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases of animals which include Avian Influenza, Brucellosis, Bovine Viral Diarrhoea, Scrapie and Swine Fever.

SZAHL has tied up with Lillidale, UK, which holds marketing rights for VLA diagnostics. These Immuno-diagnostic Reagent kits are manufactured by Veterinary Laboratories Agency (VLA), one of world's most reputed referral laboratories based in UK.

The marketing of VLA diagnostics by SZAHL promises timely availability of the finest quality diagnostic aids for diagnosis and prevention of animal infections.

This includes zoonotic infections of contemporary significance. The diagnostics will enable animal health researchers and various institutes in differential diagnosis of various serotypes of pathogens prevalent just anywhere globally.
