Satyam, CIPET to develop plastic materials

Hyderabad-based information technology company Satyam Computer Services has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology (CIPET), an autonomous training and application research institute under the ministry of chemicals and fertilisers, for developing new engineering plastic materials through an industry-institute collaborative approach.

The collaboration is part of Satyam's strategic initiative of developing a global ecosystem of alliances to provide total engineering solutions to its customers.

"This partnership would help Satyam Engineering Solutions to be a leading product design service provider with an ecosystem of alliance partners,"  T S K Murthy, global head (integrated engineering solutions), Satyam, said in a release issued today.
