Satyam Comp net up 34%

Hyderabad-based Satyam Computer registered a growth of 33.9 per cent in its consolidated total income at Rs 1,186.52 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2005.
 
For the corresponding quarter in the previous year, its total income was Rs 886.06 crore. The global IT consulting and services provider's consolidated net profit saw a rise of 34.19 per cent at Rs 237.33 crore as against Rs 176.86 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
 
Its basic EPS was Rs 7.39 as compared to Rs 5.58 in the last corresponding quarter. The board has approved an interim dividend of 100 per cent for FY06 and the record date is November 4, 2005.
 
Satyam's revenue from software services stood at aects income from services to be in the range of Rs 4,700 crore-Rs 4,718 crore. This will mark an annual growth rate of around 34 per cent.
 
EPS for the current fiscal is expected to be between Rs 29.12 and Rs 29.23, implying a growth rate of around 30 per cent over fiscal 2005.
