Order on three Satyam employees' bail petitions, which came up for hearing in two separate courts here today, were reserved for May 4.

After hearing the arguments, the IV Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge reserved his order on the bail plea of D Venkatapathi Raju (Senior Manager Finance) and Ch Srisailam (Assistant Manager) of Satyam Computer Services (SCSL) for May 4, while the XIV Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, too, reserved the order on the bail petition of G Ramakrishna, vice-president (Finance) of the company to May 4.

The three former Satyam employees were arrested by CBI on April 5 for their alleged role in Rs 7,800-crore Satyam fraud case and they are in judicial custody since April 6.

Seeking bail for G Ramakrishna, his counsel Surendra Babu said his client was only a paid employee in SCSL and did not have any monetary benefit from the Satyam scam.

Asserting that there would be no tampering of evidence if his client was released on bail, Surendra Babu assured the court that his client would abide by any condition imposed by the court to grant him bail.
