Satyam, G-Log tie up for supply chain solutions

Satyam Computer Services Ltd, India's fourth largest exporter of software services, today announced that it has formed a service and technology partnership with G-Log, a leading global transportation and logistics solutions provider, to offer competitive supply chain management and supply chain execution solutions to customers around the world.
 
Commenting on this relationship, G B Prabhat, director of Satyam's Consulting and Enterprise Solutions group said, "G-Log offers mission-critical software for companies wanting to resolve their complex, multi-modal logistics execution problems."
 
The Satyam and G-Log relationship has been in existence for over a year. This alliance has strengthened Satyam's presence in the supply chain solutions space and completed its offerings portfolio.
 
According to Mark Johnson, vice-president of marketing of G-Log, "We are extremely happy to have increased our global presence working with Satyam. We are certain that Satyam's logistics domain expertise will prove to be beneficial to G-Log."
 
G-Log is considered a thought leader in the logistics space, and its GC3 software has set the standard for transportation solutions, providing deep integrated transportation management functionality based on the most advanced Web-based technology. Satyam's relationship with G-Log reflects the maturity that global logistics practice (GLP) has gained over its short period in the logistics solutions space.
