Satyam-I-T dept petition reserved

The sixth additional chief metropolitan magistrate today reserved his orders on the petition filed by the Income-Tax department, which sought the court's permission to record the statement of Satyam founder B Ramalinga Raju to February 16.

The magistrate also reserved his judgement on the petition moved by market regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) seeking permission to question the other accused in the case – former chief financial officer Srinivas Vadlamani and Price Waterhouse auditors S Gopalakrishnan and Srinivas Talluri. It will be pronounced on February 17.
