Satyam inks deal with with Chinese firm

Satyam Computer Services has entered into a strategic partnership with China-based eBao Tech.

According to a release issued by Satyam Computer Services to the BSE today, the companies will work together to market each other's software globally.

"eBao Tech's modem and flexible architecture coupled with Satyam's global footprints, delivery capability in services and system integration skills creates a unique capability for rapid implementation and dramatic reduction of total cost," Ravi Bommakanti, senior vice president and director and head (insurance) of Satyam Computer Services, said.

The company will tap APAC and Europe to expand its business opportunities through the partnership, the release added.
