Satyam Computer Services and Microsoft China signed a memorandum of understanding (moU) to jointly develop the enterprise solutions market in China.

According to a release issued by Satyam to the BSE today, the new venture will develop the market based on Microsoft platform along with solutions and services from the company.

"The plan is to establish a Satyam Microsoft Adaptive Solution Center in the Greater China region, which will showcase the company's state-of-art capabilities - enterprise architecture, application integration, Microsoft dynamics solutions, business intelligence, infrastructure solutions and portals - leveraging Microsoft products and tools. A significant pool of skilled Satyam enterprise architects and business heads will staff the centre, and will focus on reducing total cost of ownership (TCO) and enhancing return on investment (RoI)," the release added.

Ram Mynampati, president of Satyam, said China is emerging as the marketplace where MNCs are rapidly adapting enterprise solutions today to compete successfully. "Chinese enterprises will mature soon to demand such innovations. Extending our global partnership with Microsoft into this MoU with Microsoft China reflects joint commitment from both organisations to establish a leadership position in the enterprise solutions market for Greater China," Mynampati added.
