This is contrary to advance tax payments made by other leading private banks. HDFC Bank paid Rs 700 crore against Rs 600 crore, while ICICI Bank has paid nearly 25% higher advance tax for the March quarter.
Net outflow of advance tax by Reliance Industries dropped to Rs 1,034 crore as compared to Rs 1,130 crore in the previous year.
