SC notice on COAI application

The Supreme Court on Wednesday issued notices to the government and CDMA operators on an application moved by the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI) seeking to quash the Telecom Disputes Settlement & Appellate Tribunal order approving the allotment of GSM spectrum to CDMA operators. The bench headed by judge Altamesh Kabir asked the central government, CDMA operators Reliance and Tata telecom companies to file their replies to the COAI application.
