Close on the heels of the launch of its premium single malt, Glenlivet 15 and 18, Seagram India is planning to introduce four more premium single malts from its stable over the next 12 months.

The brands to be introduced are Longmorn, Abelour, Abounah and Strathisla, all of which fall in the premium catagory. Last week, Seagram introduced two more variants to its flagship brand Glenlivet, 15- and 18-year old malts. Earlier this year, it had intoduced the Chivas 18-year old gold Signature.

Said Kashmira Chaddha, assistant VP (marketing), Seagram India, "The single malt category in India is small but the retail market is growing as more and more people are experimenting, and moving up the ladder.

So we are keen to be present here with all our brands." Following its acquisition of Allied Domecq, Seagram will also launch the Ballantyne range of whiskeys.
