Sebi chief to meet local brokers at 4 PM

Sebi chairman M Damodaran will meet domestic brokerage houses at 4.00 PM today to clarify the regulator's position on the P-notes issue and discuss developments in the equity markets.

Damodaran had addressed foreign institutional investors yesterday and said Sebi will fast-track registration and proprietary sub-accounts have to register with the regulator.
