Sensex flat; Cipla gains 3%

The Sensex is flat at 10,683.

Cipla has soared over 3% to Rs 221. Dr.Reddy's has surged 2% to Rs 1,340, and Ranbaxy has spurted 1% to Rs 353.

Grasim has moved up 1% to Rs 1,954.

HDFC Bank has declined nearly 2% to Rs 764. Tata Motors and Hero Honda are down over 1.5% each to Rs 772 and Rs 755, respectively.

Bharti Airtel, Hindalco, Tata Steel, TCS and Maruti have slipped over 1% each.

Out of 2,156 stocks traded so far, 1,076 have advanced, 995 have declined and 85 are unchanged.
