Sentini Cermica to double capacity

Sentini Cermica Private Limited plans to double its ceramic tile production capacity from 13,000 square metres per day to 26,000 square metres per day by the end of December.
 
The manufacturing plant, engaged in the production of ceramic wall and floor tiles, is located at Chigurukota in Mudinepalli mandal in Krishna district.
 
Addressing a press conference here, T Seshagiri Rao, director, Sentini Cermica Private Limited, said, "We achieved a turnover of Rs 85 crore in the last fiscal and are targeting a turnover of Rs 120 crore this fiscal with the project expansion currently under progress."
 
Sentini Cermica, set up in February 2004, is a 50:50 joint venture promoted by the Sentini group's venture capital enterprise in association with H&R Johnson (India) Limited.
 
Sentini Bioproducts Private Limited, part of the Sentini group, had already announced plans to set up a grain-based (maize) extra neutral alcohol (ENA) and ethanol manufacturing unit at Pulla village in West Godavari district at an outlay of Rs 107 crore.
 
The manufacturing plant, which is likely to start commercial production from September 2006, would have a production capacity of 1,20,000 litres per day and engage more than 20,000 farmers, Rao said.
