The Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) has completed its year-old probe into alleged accounting irregularities at the Mumbai-based Elder Pharmaceuticals.
Ministry sources said no action has been initiated, as of date, on the basis of the SFIO report.
According to sources, the company has been co-operating with the agency and it does not expect a major adverse impact. “If there had been any Satyam-like fraud, SFIO would have acted a long time back. For us, the probe is more of history,” they said.
