The country's largest direct-to-home (DTH) company Dish TV has roped in film star Shah Rukh Khan to endorse its brand. Khan will be used in both print as well as television commercials for promoting Dish TV, sources said. This comes six-months after the second private DTH company Tata Sky had used film actor Hrithik Roshan for promoting its packages during the World Cup cricket tournament earlier this year. Currently, Dish TV has 2.3 million subscribers while Tata Sky has recently crossed the 1 million subscriber figure mark. At least three more private DTH companies will soon launch their DTH operations. |
