Shapoor P Mistry meets Telangana chief minister

Discusses plans for construction of flyovers in the state, new secretariat complex and other projects

Noted construction company Shapoorji Pallonji and Company Limited (SPCL) has come forward to invest and build the infrastructure, including roads, flyovers and separators at road junctions in Hyderabad as being planned by the state government.

SPCL chairman Shapoor P Mistry along with his team of officials today met with Telangana chief minister K Chandra Shekhar Rao to discuss the government plans aimed at easing traffic issues through construction of additional flyovers besides other projects including the construction of a new secretariat complex.

During the interaction the chief minister told the SPCL chief that the the projects proposed for Hyderabad-city would entail an investment of about Rs 20,000 crore.

 

According to the chief minister's office, Mistry has suggested to Rao that his company would take up the projects to transform Hyderabad into an international city besides bringing the requisite investments. A follow up meeting between the senior officials of the state government and the company would take place on these proposals, it said.
