Shell Lubricants today said that India would be a key driver of its growth strategy in 2010.
The company also announced the introduction of a customised lubricant for CNG vehicles.
It has thus aligned its India product offering with its global lubricants portfolio, a press release issued here said.
"Aligning with the global portfolio while remaining sensitive to Indian customers essentially means launching products across a range of viscosities to suit Indian climatic conditions and also increase engine efficiency," Shell India Country Head -- Lubricants -- Donald Anderson said.
This move also marks the entry of Shell's range of synthetic lubricants to India as well as the introduction of high-quality customised lubricants for CNG vehicles.
"We are introducing a customised lubricant for CNG vehicles and thus are creating grounds for accelerated growth in the future. Our new synthetic lubricants range will also be available for the first time in India for higher quality engines," he said.
