Shipping Corp Q2 net drops 29%

Shipping Corporation of India today reported a 28.63% drop in net profit at Rs 149.95 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2005 as against Rs 210.13 crore in the quarter ended September 30, 2004.

According to a release issued by Shipping Corporation of India to the BSE today, total income declined 5.68% to Rs 747.37 crore in Q2FY06 from Rs 792.44 crore in Q2FY05.
