Shiv Vani Oil sees June qtr net profit up 16%, at Rs 42 cr

Onshore integrated services provider Shiv Vani Oil & Gas Exploration Services today said its consolidated net profit for the quarter ended June 30, 2009 rose by 15.86 per cent to Rs 42.06 crore, over the same period last year.     

The company had a net profit of Rs 36.30 crore for the same quarter ended June 2008, Shiv Vani Oil said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).     

Net sales rose to Rs 281.16 crore for the June quarter this fiscal, against Rs 188.54 crore in the same quarter last year.     

The board of directors has proposed a dividend of Re 1 per share for the year ended March 31, 2009.     

 

Shares of Shiv Vani Oil & Gas Exploration Services were trading at Rs 267.25 on the BSE, down 1.35 per cent from previous close.
