Shiva Cement despatches up 10% in Q3FY08

Shiva Cement (SCL), in a release issued to the BSE today, said despatch of cement and clinker during the quarter ended December 2007 was up 10.62% when compared with the corresponding quarter ended December 2006.

Cement major ACC currently holds 12% stake in the Rourkela-based cement company.  Cement despatches from the Shiva Cements' plant under the ACC brand commenced from April 2007.
