Chennai-based Shriram City, the retail-asset financing NBFC of the Shriram Group, has proposed a final dividend of 30 per cent, which, in addition to the interim dividend of 10 per cent, aggregates a total dividend of 40 per cent, higher than the 30 per cent dividend paid for the year 2006-07.
The company clocked revenue of Rs 623.18 crore in 2007-08, a growth of 79 per cent as against revenue of Rs 348.06 crores in the previous year. The profit before tax increased by almost 60 per cent to Rs 126.98 crore as against Rs 79.43 crore of the earlier year. Net profit rose by almost 70 per cent to Rs 87.63 crore in 2007-08 from Rs 51.62 crore in 2006-07.
Total Assets under Management as on March 31, 2008 increased by about 38 per cent to exceed Rs 3,300 crore as compared to Rs 2,400 crores as on March 31, 2007.
