Shriram EPC receives Rs 68 cr order from SAIL

Shriram EPC today said it has bagged an order worth Rs 68 crore from SAIL for construction related work at Durgapur Steel Plant.

The order pertains to de-bottlenecking of a coal handling plant on turnkey basis, at the company's Durgapur Steel Plant, Shriram EPC said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The project is expected to be completed within 22 months.

"We are delighted to work with SAIL once again at the Durgapur Steel plant and we look forward to a deeper engagement going forward," Shriram EPC MD and CEO T Shivaraman said.

He further said, "the order inflow has been robust in the first half of the current fiscal and we expect the momentum to continue in the future."
