Shriram Transport Finance Q2 net profit rises 22% to Rs 6.1 billion

The board of directors declared an interim dividend of 50 per cent

Shriram Transport Finance Company on Thursday reported a 22 per cent growth in net profit at Rs 6.0958 billion for the July-September quarter.     

The company had a net profit of Rs 4.9722 billion in the same period last fiscal.

Total income of the company rose to Rs 39.4776 billion during the second quarter of this fiscal, from Rs 32.5963 billion in the same period last fiscal, Shriram Transport Finance said in a BSE filing.

The board of directors declared an interim dividend of 50 per cent, which is Rs 5 per equity share of the face value of Rs 10 each, the filing said.
