Siemen's net for the second quarter of the financial year 2016 ended March 31 rose to Rs 177 crore against Rs 162 crore during the corresponding quarter last year, a rise of 9.6 per cent.
Its revenue has been increased to 5.3 per cent of Rs 2,725 crore against Rs 2,589 crore.
The company has got 10.5 per cent higher new orders at Rs 2,939 crore compared to Rs 2,661 crore.
The company Managing Director and CEO Sunil Mathur said: "Our new order intake has shown satisfactory growth compared to the same period in the previous year with all our divisions performing well. While we are beginning to see government spending in infrastructure projects picking up, we are waiting first signs of investment from the private sector.''
