Siemens bags Rs 330cr order from Tata Steel

Siemens' Power Transmission and Distribution (PTD) division has bagged an order worth Rs 330 crore for power distribution network solutions from Tata Steel for its greenfield steel plant at Kalinganagar, Orissa.

According to an official release issued by Siemens to the BSE today, the scope of work will include the supply of latest high voltage and medium voltage gas insulated switchgears, MV switchboards, controls and protection panels, sub-station control and automation systems and energy management systems. The project is scheduled to be commissioned by end of 2009.
