Siemens inks deal with Huawei-3Com

Siemens has announced a strategic alliance with Huawei-3 Com to offer futuristic IP-based voice, data and video network solutions for Indian enterprises.

According to a release issued by Siemens to the BSE today, the combined Siemens-Huawei-3Com products and solutions are intended to accelerate the deployment of high performance networks, which are now essential infrastructure for all enterprises in India.

"The company's Communications Enterprise Networks (Com EN) division and Huawei-3 Com, a joint venture of 3Com, U.S. and Huawei, China, announced an extension of the recently signed global partnership to the Indian enterprise market. This alliance will offer networking solutions to the entire market spectrum from SOHO to large enterprises designed to meet its specific requirements at a highly attractive total cost of ownership," the release added.
