Siemens wins Rs 66-crore NTPC order

Company engineers will replace existing system with state-of-the-art, fourth-generation distributed control system for entire plant

Siemens has announced that it has received  Rs 66 crore order from National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) for the renovation and modernization of its Korba Stage-II (1,500 MW)  plant in Chhattisgarh.

Siemens engineers will replace the existing system with the state-of-the-art, fourth-generation distributed control system for the entire plant, including its boiler and turbine control systems.
