Sify Technologies Limited, a Nasdaq-listed company providing managed enterprise, network and information and communication technology (ICT) services in India with growing global delivery capabilities, on Tuesday launched its fifth data centre at Noida.
Established with an investment of $30 million in Phase-I, the green data centre is design-certified as Tier-III by Uptime Institute, an independent provider of thought leadership, certification, education and professional services for the global data centre and emerging digital infrastructure industry. The Chennai-headquartered company already has a data centre each in Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore.
The new data centre has a total capacity of 10 Mw, and is optimised for high-density computing. The centre’s portfolio of services will include infrastructure, core, managed, consultancy and enterprise risk management services, besides hosted applications.

“In the past 12 years, we have built five data centres, six state data centres and have recently connected over 36 data centres across India with our high-capacity data network. Sify has invested around $200 million in building network and data centre capabilities over the last five years. The Noida data centre is an important milestone in our journey to becoming a strategic ICT partner to our clients,” he added.
