Simplex Infrastructures Ltd (SIL) reported a 95 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 38.3 crore in the first quarter of FY09 as compared to Rs 19.7 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal on the back of volume growth and higher operational efficiency. Net sales grew 71 per cent to Rs1016.6 crore.
The overseas turnover more than trebled to Rs 274 crore from Rs 79 crore for the same quarter last year.
