Simplilearn raises $10 mn

Funding to allow the company diversify, expand its course catalogue to add more categories

Simplilearn, a provider of online training and professional certification courses, has raised $10-million in series B funding from Helion Venture Partners and Kalaari Capital.

The funding will allow the company to diversify and expand its course catalogue to add more categories apart from improving customer engagement by hiring local team members in the US, UK, Australia and West Asia. The company said it is on course to reach Rs 100 crore in revenues during 2013-14.

“Simplilearn aspires to be a world leader in the business of online certification exam preparation for working professionals,” said Krishna Kumar, CEO of Simplilearn.
