Sintex Industries' Kalol plant workers go on strike

Some workers at Sintex Industries' plastic section plant at Kalol, north Gujarat have gone on strike from today demanding  additional benefits.

According to an official release issued by Sintex to the BSE today, the company has two divisions, textile and plastic at the Kalol plant and the other sections of the factory as well as the seven other manufacturing locations are working normally.

The management is negotiating with the workers to find an amicable solution and end the strike. The management also believes that there is no major impact on the production and the working of the plastic division, the release said.
