SKF India plans Rs 130cr capex

SKF India is planning to invest Rs 130 crore this year for hiking capacity of its ball bearing manufacturing facilities in Bangalore and Pune.

"The company is also looking at installing a new industrial bearing production line in Pune," Rakesh Makhija, managing director of SKF India, said today.

He said the capacity of the deep-groove ball bearing plant in Bangalore would be increased by 50% while the capacity of taper bearing facility in Pune would be hiked by 40-50%. "Both the expansions would be completed by the end of the year," Makhija said.
