Czech car maker SkodaAuto today launched the new Superb in India with prices starting at Rs 22.68 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai).
The Superb is the flagship model of Skoda and will compete against the Toyota Camry, Honda Accord, Nissan Teana and Volkswagen Passat.
The luxury sedan is powered by a new 1.8 litre, 180ps petrol engine and a 2.0 litre 177ps diesel engine. This is the third generation Superb and claims to be 30% more fuel-efficient than its predecessor.

The car will be available at all Skoda dealerships across the country from today. Skoda presently has a sales and service network of 65 outlets.
The company has decided to reintroduce the Laurin and Klement moniker which will be placed at the top of the model range. The car will be available in for colours and five variants with the top-end model, 2.0 TDI automatic costing Rs 29.36 lakh, ex-showroom, Mumbai.
