Skoda Superb Petrol Variant On Hold

SkodaAuto India has decided to defer the launch of the petrol version of its luxury offering Superb, its answer to the Mercedes E-class, due to unavailability of high-grade petrol in India.

This is because petrol currently available in India is of the octane-87 grade, while fuel with octane level of above 93 is required for the optimum performance of Superb
