Singapore-based SkyQuestCom, a provider of content and packages for individual training and development, announced the opening of its new office in India. |
With this, the organisation will begin to target the Indian consumer aggressively and plans to grow their reach to 1 million users in the country in the next three years. |
"Our largest market so far has been China where we have 80,000 users. We think India has a lot more potential than China due to its familiarity with the English language," said Ricard Tan, CEO of the company. |
The company's product provides a collection of motivational and training speeches from global experts in the field. The product's sections include collections of speeches and training content for corporates, families, children and personal improvement. |
Apart from this, the company will also telecast live every seminar its parent company, Success Resources, an organiser of seminars, conducts around the world. |
The products will be sold for $250 to corporates (Rs 12,800 approximately) and $150 (Rs 6,700 approximately) to individuals. |
While the design, programming and support for the product is done out of several countries including Malaysia and China, Tan said that some programming and design, as part of localisation measures, will also happen in India once the market starts picking up. |
The company clocks a turnover of $10 million, with a 35 per cent profit margin, according to Tan.The company will be investing $2 million in developing its base in India in the next few years. |
