SMC Global files papers with Sebi for public issue

The equity shares of the company are already listed on the Delhi Stock Exchange

Stock broking firm SMC Global Securities Ltd has filed its initial papers with the market regulator Sebi for the public issue of 1.58 crore shares.

As per information available withe the Sebi, SMC Global Securities has filed draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) for the public issue of 1.58 crore equity shares of face value of Rs 2 each. The company is planning to list these shares on the BSE and the NSE.

The equity shares of the company are already listed on the Delhi Stock Exchange, Calcutta Stock Exchange among others.

SMC Global Securities said that the issue comprises of a fresh 79.33 lakh equity shares by the company and the same quantity through an offer for sale route by Millennium India Acquisition Company Inc.

It further said that 6,34,690 equity shares have been reserved for allocation to eligible employees.

Tata Capital, IL& FS Capital Advisors and Link Intime India Pvt Ltd are the book running lead managers to the issue

The company had posted a total income of Rs 292.24 at the year ended March 31, 2012.
