Online marketplace Snapdeal.Com has seen two-fold jump in sales led by mobiles and laptops in this month compared to the last month amid ongoing festive season, a company official said.

Besides mobiles and laptops, other electronics products such as cameras and TVs have also seen more than two-fold growth in sales this month, Snapdeal.Com Vice President (Business Development) Tony Navin said.

Easy payment options like EMIs, combo offers and freebies are helping in pushing sales this festive season, he said.

"Sales of televisions have paced up very well. We have seen nearly 200% growth in sale of TVs. Big electronics products like refrigerators and washing machines are also picking well due to large variety of options and festive offers," he said.

Sales are largely driven by mobiles, tablets and laptops which have seen 110-120% growth this month, he said.

Buoyed by good response in this festive season, the online marketplace expects turnover of more than Rs 2,000 crore in this financial year. Also, it expects to earn about 30% of total turnover in the current quarter.

To win customers' confidence, Navin said that the website has launched 'TrustPay' service under which a seller does not get paid until a customer approves that he has got the right product in good condition.
