Modi to meet startups at Silicon Valley

Around 30 Indian startups are learnt to be traveling to the Silicon Valley, to be present during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the US starting September 23. The PM will address Indian American entrepreneurs at the SAP Centre, San Jose, on September 27.

The group of Indian startups are part of a Nasscom and TIE delegation.

Social and impact startups are travelling for a CEOs meeting, apart from a gala dinner and an address by Modi, according to sources.

Founders of Social Cops, Greenway Grameen, Forus Health and Akaar Innovation are among those visiting the Silicon Valley.

The list of the startups has been finalised by the associations in consultation with the Prime Ministers Office and Bharatiya Janata Party.
